Quite a year. Bought a home with my partner, won a double world championship with work,¹ and finally got a diagnosis for asthma. Some high points:

• Plenty of amazing gigs. Finally got to see Jack White live, along with getting more chances to see Justice, clipping., and The Hives. After missing out in 2020 as Covid began to swell, I also got to see Louis Cole, who was worth the wait.
• I got to go to Monza with work, which was a fantastic thing to experience (and my first-ever Formula 1 race), even if the result was not as good as I might have hoped.
• Did more Mission Control support, including the season finale, where Lando won his first world championship.
• Found out I had severe asthma, which is a good outcome but comes with some frustration that it took a couple of years to get a proper diagnosis.

It was absolutely a good year overall. I think a few parts could have been managed better, and I’m definitely going to try and be more present and preserve more energy for the most important stuff in 2026. Overall though, definitely a year that had significantly more good moments than bad.
